Welcome to Sue Austin (Analytic Associates)

Sue Austin trained with the Australian and New Zealand Society of Jungian Analysts, and has been in private practice since 1993.  She received a Ph.D. from the University of Sydney (Department of Studies in Religion) for her work on gender, identity and analytical psychology. A book based on this work was published  by Brunner-Routledge in 2005 entitled "Women's Aggressive Fantasies: An Exploration of Self-Hatred, Love and Agency".

Sue's private practise comprises general analytic work and clinical supervision. She also specialises in working with eating disordered adults and supervising clinicians who work in the eating disorders field.  Sue has run numerous clinical workshops and seminars in Australia, New Zealand, the UK and USA and has published several clinical and theoretical papers.
